This is what drives me!
I just got off this call…
A young man trying to find the right help. Trying to find a solution to his chronic pain because the endless physio appointments and trips to the doctors where not helping.
After suffering from RSI for 8 to 9 months his company had provided three different new chairs and 2 workstation assessments because of his ongoing chronic pain. The physiotherapist that completed his last workstation assessment had recommended a work posture that is so out of date, it caused back pain.
The end result – a young man now in more pain than before his company, thinking they were doing the right thing, called in experts that were working with old information and had no ability to holistically. The posture recommendation was wrong, there was no advice on work breaks, even adjusting the chair was incomplete.
