This fun interview with Star Radio’s Jack and Danii shows that Gen Z and Millennials are aware of risk and increasingly interested in finding ways to manage screens. This very interactive interview was based on the following question outline:

Three little-known reasons why screens hurt your health.  We spend so much time in front of screens that it’s seriously impacting our health. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are already known to be the most common health problems, but being sedentary also contributes to chronic conditions like heart disease, stroke, cancer, type 2 diabetes, and even mental health issues like depression. Recent studies also show prolonged slouching, like looking down at laptops or mobile devices, can lower energy levels and increase feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and defeat. Here’s how to protect yourself. 1) Check the ergonomics to reduce aches and pain and the risk of MSDs, 2) Regularly stand and stretch to release muscle tension and reset posture, and 3) Be more active. Add three brisk 10-minute walks into your day and count your steps to create a mindful moment to stop brain chatter.
